Columbus Mental Health Network (CMHN), Inc.'s goal is to help you answer that question. A Columbus, Georgia-based network, CMHN's mission is to develop networks with businesses, government agencies, managed care organizations, independent physicians' associations, and other interested organizations. Highly Qualified Mental Health Practitioners comprise CMHN's panel of providers. These providers have been carefully chosen based upon rigorous clinical, educational, and licensing standards. The multi-disciplinary membership is comprised of Licensed Professional Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, and Social Workers who have an average of 15 years of clinical experience. Professionals of CMHN are authorized as providers for more than 30 managed-care plans. Many providers are educators, serve as university faculty, work as consultants and serve as clinical supervisors in the field of mental health. Continual education is of the utmost importance for CMHN professionals to remain informed about the mental health issues that face today's society.

Members of the CMHN provider panel participate in peer review and evaluation, ongoing utilization review, client satisfaction surveys, quality assurance monitoring, and outcome research. In addition, provider profiles furnish clinicians with regular feedback on practice patterns, thus allowing comparisons with other CMHN providers and creating a mechanism for continuous improvement.
